Filter Size Search
Know the dimensions but not the part number? Search our full range of air, oil, fuel, hydraulic, cabin and water filters by size — outer diameter, inner diameter, length, width, height and thread. Pick a filter type, set the measurements you have, and we’ll match the filters that fit.

How the filter size search works
- Choose a filter type — air, oil, fuel, hydraulic, cabin or water, with sub-types like spin-on, element or radial seal.
- Enter the dimensions you know — any combination of outer diameter, inner diameter, length, width, height or thread. You don’t need them all.
- Browse the matches — results update instantly, in millimetres, and link straight to the product.
Why search filters by size?
When a filter has no legible part number, or you’re cross-referencing an unbranded or obsolete unit, its physical dimensions are the most reliable way to identify a replacement. Measuring the outer diameter, bore (inner diameter) and overall length narrows thousands of filters down to a handful that will physically fit — then you can confirm the thread or seal type. It’s the quickest route to the right filter when the markings are worn away.
Measurements we search on
- Outer diameter (OD) — the widest outside measurement of the filter body.
- Inner diameter (ID) — the bore, for element-style filters that sit over a centre tube.
- Length / height — the overall end-to-end measurement.
- Width — for panel and cabin filters measured across the face.
- Thread — the mounting thread on spin-on filters (e.g. 3/4-16, M20 x 1.5).
Frequently asked questions
Do I need every measurement?
No — even one or two dimensions will narrow the results. The more you enter, the tighter the match.
What units do you use?
All dimensions are in millimetres (mm). Measure across the widest points for diameters and end to end for length.
Can I search by thread size?
Yes — for spin-on filters, choose the thread from the dropdown once you’ve picked a filter type.
What if I can’t find a match?
Try widening the range slightly, or use our cross-reference search if you have any part number to hand. Our team can also help identify filters from a sample.
