A 38/60 CJC Filter Insert

The CJC™ A 38/60 Filter Insert is manufactured to deliver deep, fine filtration with high dirt-holding capacity and low operating cost. Made from bonded cellulose discs (100% natural cellulose fibres), this insert removes particles, water, oxidation by-products, varnish, and acidity in one filtration process.

Due to the relatively higher pressure loss compared to other CJC™ inserts, the A-type element is best suited to low-viscosity or warm oils. It has been proven in real-world applications across thousands of systems and is widely used in CJC™ Fine Filters (HDU series).

Filtration Performance

All CJC™ Filter Inserts provide an absolute filtration degree of 3 µm, meaning:

• 98.7% of solid particles larger than 3 µm are retained

• Approximately 50% of particles larger than 0.8 µm are removed in one pass

Water and Contaminant Handling

The cellulose media absorbs water and retains oil degradation products (including varnish/sludge), helping slow oil ageing and reduce wear on components.
