Adblue

With emission standards tightening across the world to reduce pollution many heavy-duty vehicle operators are now using AdBlue in a way to reduce their carbon footprint.

To comply with Euro 6 regulations, diesel vehicles developed since 2015 use selective catalytic reduction (SCR), a technology which involves injecting precise amounts of AdBlue in an exhaust system creating a chemical reaction which neutralises harmful emissions.

AdBlue also helps increase fuel efficiency. This means that diesel vehicles using AdBlue can run more efficiently and consume less fuel, leading to cost savings and reduced fuel usage.

AdBlue is easy to use and can be bought from RICO Europe. The fluid is stored in a separate tank on the vehicle and is automatically mixed with the diesel fuel to reduce emissions.
