  Dirt holding capacity:

  • B 15/12 Insert = 0.75 litres of dirt
  • B 15/25 Insert = 1.50 litres of dirt               
  • B 27/27 Insert = 4.00 litres of dirt

  Water absorption capacity:

  Up to 50% of the total contaminant holding capacity.

  CJC™ Blue Baleen Oil Absorb Inserts (OAI) are ideal for fine polishing of bilge water and other types of oil-contaminated process and wastewater.

  These filter inserts can attain an oil-in-water contamination level of less than 5 ppm on the exit side.

  After polishing to below 5 ppm, the cleanliness of the water exceeds the requirements in most environmental regulations.

  ABSORPTION CAPABILITY

  All CJC™ Oil Absorb Inserts have an oil-holding capacity of 5-6 kg (per 2 inserts).

  The combination of structure and material makes the inserts extremely effective in absorbing oils to a polishing degree of 1-5 ppm.

  EC / EO / EL filter...

  CJC™ Ion Exchange Insert (fuller's earth, activated alumina, ion-exchange resin) is used for neutralising acidic compounds in fluids such as transformer oil, gas engine oil or phosphate esters.

  Among other things, ion exchange filter inserts:

  • Reduce of Total Acid Number (TAN)
  • Increase surface tension
  • Reduction of the dissipation factor (tan delta) / increasing restitivity (Ω)
  • Increase the breakdown voltage

  Reducing oil acidity extends oil lifetime and reduces the fluid system’s ageing and wear and tear.

  The amount of acidity-reducing filtration material needed to restore oil varies from oil to oil. Among other things, this depends on water content, oil temperature and particle contamination levels.

  Filtered transformer oil can be expected to reach levels equal to or better than standards for new oil.
  Filtered gas engine oil can be expected to result in reduced TAN, thereby extending oil change intervals. Combined with a CJC™ Fine Filter, Si-levels will also be reduced.

  F-filter insert

  F Filter Insert is manufactured especially for CJC™ Filter Separators for oil filtration and water removal on mineral-based fuels, typically

  • Diesel oils 
  • Gas oils 
  • Quenching oils

  Dirt-holding capacity: 

  F 15/25 Insert = 1.5 litre of evenly distributed solids. 

  F 27/27 Insert = 4.0 litres of evenly distributed solids. 

  F 38/20 Insert = 3.5 litres of evenly distributed solids.

  F 27/27 Filter Insert will not permanently hold water as its free passage is integral to the water separation process.

  Gear flushing insert

  CJC™ Oil Filtration & Flushing insert for Cleaning of Gearboxes
   
  The CJC™ Gear Flushing insert, GFi 27/27 is specifically designed for filtration and cleaning of gearboxes. The CJC™ GFi 27/27 has a high capacity for submicron particles and is documented to remove considerable amounts of particles down to 3 microns or even lower, with improved efficiency over the standard CJC™ Filter Inserts.

  The filter insert is optimized for high performance in:

  • large dirt holding capacity
  • air-containing oil
  • variable temperature conditions
  • used oil

  This filter insert is applicable for viscosities in the range ISO VG 320-480 cSt.

  Filtration capability:

  • Removal of particles, both hard and soft particles down to 3 µm or even lower
  • Removal of degradation products, such as oxidation and resin/sludge
  • Removal of water, large amounts of free water, normal up to 2,000 ml. In some documented case, removal of up to 4,000 ml of water

  Key Filter insert, KFi

  Particle removal
  All CJC™ Key Filter insert has an oil filtration degree of 3 µm (micron) absolute. This means that 98.7% of all solid particles larger than 3 µm and approximately 50% of all particles larger than 0.8 µm are retained in one pass. The dirt-holding capacity of a Key Filter insert is 2 litres of evenly distributed solids.

  Degradation products
  Oxidation by-products, resin / sludge, and varnish are retained by the cellulose material. The cellulose will retain appr. 1.5 kg of degradation products.

  Water removal
  The water absorption potential is up to 50% (i.e., 1000 ml H20) of the total contaminant holding capacity.

  COMPONENT
  The CJC™ Key Filter insert (KFi) consist of several discs bonded together, based on a new special design with a unique pattern.

  U-Filter inserts

  The CJC™ U 27/27 Filter Insert is ideal for the fine filtration of 

  • washing oils

  and the features are:

  • systems with high flow
  • longer insert lifetime
  • larger dirt holding capacity

  FILTRATION CAPABILITY

  All CJC™ Filter Inserts have an oil filtration degree of 3 µm (micron) absolute. This means that 98.7% of all solid particles larger than 3 µm and approximately 50% of all particles larger than 0.8 µm are retained in one pass.

  The dirt-holding capacity of an U 27/27 Insert is 8.2 kg of evenly distributed solids.

  C.C.JENSEN A/S offers a wide range of CJC Accessories and Spare Parts for use with CJC™ Offline Oil Filtration system, eg CJC™ Filter Insert Change Kit, Automatic Air Vent, Pressure Gauges, Tank Adaptors etc. 

  The most frequently required spare parts for the CJC™ Filters are the CJC™ Filter Inserts and o-rings. (It is recommended that you replace o-rings when replacing filter inserts.)
