The CJC™ Type A 38/40 Filter Insert is ideal for fine filtration in lubrication and hydraulic systems where high oil cleanliness is essential. It is engineered to remove harmful particles and contaminants from both mineral and synthetic-based oils, helping reduce wear and improve machinery reliability.

Filtration Performance

All CJC™ Filter Inserts deliver an absolute filtration degree of 3 µm (equivalent to 0.8 µm nominal), meaning:

• 98.7% of solid particles larger than 3 µm are retained

• Approximately 50% of particles larger than 0.8 µm are captured in each pass

The A 38/40 insert offers a dirt-holding capacity of 2.5 litres of evenly distributed solids, supporting long service intervals and consistent filtration performance.

Water Absorption

The insert also supports moisture control, with a water absorption potential of up to 50% of the total contaminant holding capacity.
