How to Use the New RICO Europe Cross Reference Tool

At RICO Europe, we’ve just launched a powerful upgrade to our Cross Reference Tool — making it easier than ever to find the filter part numbers you need.

Whether you're a long-time user or just getting started, this step-by-step guide will walk you through how to use the new features and get the most out of the tool.

What’s New?

The upgraded tool now supports three flexible search options:

• Single Search
• Multi Search
• CSV Upload

Let’s break down how each one works.

Single Search (Standard)

This is the same method you’ve always used.

• Go to the Cross Reference Tool.
• Enter a single part number in the search bar.
• Hit Search.

If the number exists in our database, the equivalent filter(s) will be displayed.

This method is great for quick, one-off checks.

Multi Search (New!)

Perfect for account customers managing larger lists.

How to use it:

1. Log into your RICO Europe account.
2. Navigate to the Cross Reference Tool.
3. In the Multi Search field, paste or type in multiple part numbers.
4. Separate them using line breaks or commas. (both examples below)
5. Click Search.

Instantly receive multiple results in one batch — no need to search individually.

CSV Upload (New!)

Ideal for bulk lookups and system-generated lists.

How to use it:

1. Log into your RICO Europe account.
2. Go to the CSV Upload section in the Cross Reference Tool.
3. Download the example spreadsheet template provided. (highlighted below)
4. Insert your part numbers in the column A under 'searchterm'. (examples already exist, please remove)
5. Save and upload the completed file.
6. Hit Search and wait for your results to be processed and displayed.

This is especially useful for procurement teams managing high volumes.

A Quick Note

If a part number isn’t found in our database, the tool will simply return no result. We’re continuously updating and expanding our references, so it’s always worth checking back.
