Filtration Performance

Particle Removal
All CJC® Filter Inserts provide an absolute filtration degree of 3 µm, meaning:

  • 98.7 % of solid particles larger than 3 µm are retained

  • Approximately 50 % of particles larger than 0.8 µm are captured in one pass

The B27/27 insert has a dirt-holding capacity of 4 litres of evenly distributed solids, helping to extend service intervals and maintain fluid cleanliness.

Degradation Product & Water Removal
The unique cellulose media absorbs oxidation by-products, resin, sludge and varnish, with a capacity of approximately 4 kg of degradation products. Water absorption potential is up to 50 % of the total holding capacity (~2000 ml), reducing the risk of water-related degradation.
