AK 27/27 CJC Filter Insert

The CJC™ AK 27/27 Filter Insert is engineered for use in CJC™ Fine Filters (HDU series) where low humidity content (below 50 ppm) and deep oil cleanliness are critical. It is based on the standard A-type insert but is extra dried and vacuum packed so the cellulose media contains minimal moisture — ideal for low-viscosity or warm oil applications.

• Lube and circulating oil systems requiring low water content

The AK 27/27 removes all four contamination types — particles, water, varnish, and acidity — in a single offline process, helping protect system components and extend oil life.

All CJC™ Filter Inserts provide an oil filtration degree of 3 µm absolute, meaning:

• 98.7 % of particles larger than 3 µm are retained

• Approximately 50 % of particles larger than 0.8 µm are captured in one pass

The AK insert also has outstanding water absorption capability, helping achieve low moisture levels in oil — a key benefit in systems where dissolved and emulsified water must be minimised.

Dirt and Water Holding Capacity

Based on field experience and CJC testing, the AK 27/27 insert is documented to hold typical contamination capacities similar to other 27/27 CJC inserts, meaning efficient removal of solids and water over a long service life.
