Blue Baleen Oil Absorb CJC Insert

The CJC™ Blue Baleen Oil Absorb Insert (OAI) is engineered for high-performance oil absorption and water polishing in applications where oil contamination must be reduced to very low levels.

These inserts are ideal for use in:

• Bilge water treatment

• Oil-contaminated process water

• Industrial and wastewater polishing applications

After treatment, the oil-in-water concentration can be reduced to below 5 ppm on the outlet side. At this level, the water cleanliness typically exceeds the requirements of most environmental regulations, supporting compliant discharge or reuse.

Absorption Performance

All CJC™ Oil Absorb Inserts provide a total oil-holding capacity of 5–6 kg per set of two inserts.

The combination of the insert structure and absorbent material makes the Blue Baleen insert extremely effective, allowing oil absorption and polishing down to a level of approximately 1–5 ppm.

This performance makes the insert particularly suitable for final polishing stages where very low residual oil content is required.
