C.C.JENSEN offers CJC® Type B Filter Inserts removing all four contamination types in one process: particles, water, varnish, and acidity.
Type B:
CJC® Type B Filter Inserts are designed for the filtration of hydraulic and lubricating oils.
These inserts achieve the best balance between fine filtration efficiency and substantial dirt holding capacity, leading to the most cost-effective means of eliminating one kilogram of contamination from oil.
The B Filter Inserts address all four contamination types—particles, water, acidity, and varnish—within a single filtration process.
For decades, B Filter Inserts have been used throughout various industries on many types of applications. These Filter Inserts are used in CJC® Fine Filters HDU series.
Used for maintenance of below oil types:
- Hydraulic oils
- Gear oils
- Bearing lubricating oils
- Turbine mineral oils
- Synthetic oils.
Type BG:
Specially designed for fine filtration of gear oils
The CJC® BG Filter Inserts are engineered for the filtration of high-viscosity gear oil within a compact depth filter, offering excellent dirt holding capacity. These inserts effectively eliminate all four contamination types—particles, water, varnish, and acidity—in a single, integrated filtration process.
For decades, the BG Filter Inserts have proven valuable in real-life applications on wind turbine gear boxes. The BG Filter Inserts are used in CJC® Fine Filters HDU series.
Used for maintenance of below high viscosity oil types:
- Gear oils
- Bearing lubricating oils
- Mineral & synthetic oils.
Type BK:
Specially designed for filtration and removal of humidity from oils
The CJC® BK Filter Insert is based on CJC® B Filter Insert, but extra dried and vacuum packed, so the cellulose filter media contains no humidity. It is designed for high filtration efficiency, high dirt holding capacity and for systems, which require very low humidity content in the oil.
The CJC® BK Filter Insert is used in the CJC® Fine Filter HDU 27/- series for maintenance of oils where below 50 ppm of humidity content is required.
The CJC® BK Filter Insert removes all four contamination types in one and the same process: particles, water, varnish, and acidity.
Used for maintenance of below oil types:
- Transformers
- Tap Changers
- Hydraulic systems
- Gears
- Bearing lubricating oils.
Type BLA:
Specially designed for filtration of water containing oils & fluids
The CJC® BLA Filter Inserts are designed for fine filtration of lubricants containing water. The BLA Filter Inserts will allow water to pass through, but will retain particles and varnish.
The BLA Filter Inserts are mainly used in CJC® Fine Filter HDU series, but also in CJC® Filter Separators PTU 15/- series. A CJC® Desorber can, if required, remove the water from the specialised lubricant.
Used for maintenance of below oil types:
- EALs, Morg Oils, paper machine lube oils
- Water glycol-based fluid (PEG)
- Water based fire resistant fluid (HFA, HFB)
- Water based machine tooling fluid.
Type BLAT:
CJC® BLAT Filter Inserts are specifically crafted for the filtration and separation of water from turbine oils.
They ensure the continuous separation of water from lubricants, exhibiting excellent demulsibility and a density lower than that of water.
Used for maintenance of below oil types:
- Turbine oils
- Hydraulic oils
- Gear and lubricating oils up to ISO VG150
- Diesel and gas oil.
Type BLDA:
CJC® BLDA Filter Inserts, designed for the filtration of water glycols.
Based on the BLA Filter Insert, but manufactured using demineralised water to eliminate the risk of the cellulose filter media containing any residues of limescale.
Used for maintenance of below oil types:
- Water glycol-based fluid (PEG)
- Water based fire resistant fluid (HFA, HFB).
Type BM:
CJC ® BM 27/27 Filter insert is manufactured especially for oil filtration in gear applications on cement mills:
- Mineral or synthetic gear oil
BM Inserts are widely applicable and are ideal in all types of CJC ® filters mounted on FLS Symetro Gears.
Filtration Capacity
Particulate Removal
All CJC ® Filter Inserts have an oil filtration rating of 3 µm (micron) absolute. This means that 98.7% of all solid particles larger than 3 µm and approximately 50% of all particles larger than 0.8 µm are collected in one pass.
Dirt capacity for a BM 27/27 Insert is 4 liters of solid particles.
Decomposition products
Oxidation products, resin, sludge and varnish are collected by the cellulose material. The cellulose can collect approximately 4 kg of decomposition products.
Water removal
The potential water absorption capacity is up to 50% (ie 2000 ml H 2 0) of the total dirt capacity.
Type BNK:
The CJC® BNK 27/27 Filter insert is custom-designed for use in CJC® Filters, specifically tailored for the filtration of insulating oil in winding couplers on transformers.
Its purpose is to effectively remove particles and water from the oil.
The BNK insert is specially dried for optimal water and dirt capacity and is fitted with a 30 µm filter in the middle.
