BNK 27/27 CJC Filter Insert

The CJC™ BNK 27/27 Filter Insert is specifically engineered for use in CJC™ Fine Filters to deliver reliable and efficient cleaning of insulating oils, such as those found in tap changer systems and other critical industrial applications. This insert is extra dried and vacuum packed to ensure minimal moisture in the filter media for optimal water and dirt removal performance.

Filtration Performance

Particle Removal
Like all CJC™ Filter Inserts, the BNK 27/27 delivers absolute filtration at 3 µm, meaning:

• 98.7% of all particles larger than 3 µm are captured

• Approximately 50% of particles larger than 0.8 µm are retained in each pass

The dirt-holding capacity is approximately 4 litres of evenly distributed solids, providing extended service life and reliable filtration efficiency.

Degradation Products
Oxidation by-products such as resin, sludge, and varnish are retained by the cellulose media, with a capacity of up to 4 kg of degradation products.

Water Removal
The extra dried BNK filter insert shows strong water absorption performance, with a potential of up to 55% of total contaminant holding capacity (approximately 2,200 ml of water).

Construction and Materials

The BNK 27/27 consists of bonded discs made from wood cellulose and cotton linters, producing a robust depth filtration media that removes particles, water, and degradation products from oil.
